Farmer Veteran Coalition Holistic Impactful Veteran Engagement (H.I.V.E.) Seminar
MPN has partnered with Lawrence Rhone, Project Manager with the Farmer Veteran Coalition, on a project designed to assist veterans interested in farming, ranching, and other agriculture related professions. The HIVE Project will provide the following to three 15 member cohorts. Cohort Bravo 2025 program begins May 12, 2025 and ends May 23, 2025 in the Missoula Region (Hamilton), Montana. Cohort Charlie is scheduled to begin September 28, 2025.
- Holistic Approach to Transitioning into Farming, Ranching, or Ag Related Professions including Resiliency training and Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) training
- Classroom and Hands-On / In-Field Instruction & Experience
- USDA Warm Hand-Off to Regional Leadership & On-The-Ground USDA Support
- Micro-Loan Ready upon Completion (Potential Operations Loan Posturing)
- Tangible Tools & Network Resources
- Opportunity to Give Back to One’s Community in an Impactful Ag Related “Community Needs Project”
- Opportunity to Work with the Nation’s Largest Veteran Focused Agriculture Oriented Non-Profit
